On August 14th 2017, mudslide struck the village of Regent in the outskirts of Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone. Over 400 people confirmed dead with more than 600 still missing most of whom were buried alive in their sleep during the mudslide. Of the 400 confirmed dead, 105 are children and mass burial of the victims took place this past Thursday August 17th.
